In addition to the Ivory Coast, SIR markets its products in Africa and beyond. The logistics facilities available include 10 crude storage tanks, 90 products tanks, 2 terminals and 3 jetties.
At present SIR is engaged in a project to replace its production management systems. In this context, it has built a single building housing the hall of conduct of all its units. This complex is called Quadripôle, and designed to withstand explosions.

SAMIR (Société Anonyme Marocaine de l’Industrie du Raffinage), is a joint stock public company in Casablanca stock exchange; it is a subsidiary of Corral Petroleum Holding, a Swedish group.
The company owns a refinery located in Mohammedia City in Morocco with a refining capacity of 145 Kbpd, including hydrocracking complex and a base oil complex, as well as storage capacity of 2 million m3.
